Deadstock fabrics are the left over fabrics of other fashion houses who overestimated their needs that are saved from the landfills.

Natural dyes are dyes or colorants derived from plants, invertebrates, or minerals. The majority of natural dyes are vegetable dyes from plant sources—roots, berries, bark, leaves, and wood.

Where did the inspiration behind the name and logo come from?

The meaning of the name Sustain is twofold. First, the obvious meaning refers to our practice in sustainability.  Second, the biblical reference of He who sustains us. It is our hope to honor both in each way possible. 
The Sustain logo features a hand sketched Acacia (another biblical refernece) branch and hand lettered name, all done by Audra herself.
